*****Ice storm to Severe storm*****

They had been forcasting severe storms and possible tornado's for yesterday, but the chances seemed to go down all day. We were getting ready for bed and a storm was approaching. I had watched the weather and it didn't look bad... so off to bed we were going--Addi was already asleep. I layed her on the bed and went back in the living room for my cell phone (just in case) and heard a weird noise- it kind of sounded like an airplane- only the sound lasted longer than normal when we hear planes taking off and landing from XNA. A few seconds later some very strong wind hit the side of the house, I grabbed Addi and ran into the little bathroom. We could hear the walls "groaning & creaking" with the power of the wind... I expected to have the roof blown off- it felt like it was being lifted! Out of the corner of my eye I could also see the water in the toilet bowl swishing around!! WEIRD!! After all of that it quieted down (Addi slept through it all)-- I was trying to look out the windows to see if any trees were down, but couldn't see anything. I could see the neighbors driving around the chicken houses shining lights, but thought "Hey we're not crazy- there really was something going on." These are the pictures from this morning- with part of the roof to one of their chicken houses in our field! Our other poor neighbors in this double-wide must have been really frightened with tin flying over their house!!! I just love Arkansas!!! :-)

For those of you who live locally- I uploaded the last picture to a few of the tv station's website, we'll see if they show them and what they say it was... Straight Line Winds-- I'm sure!!
