Busy Summer!!

Wow! It's been forever since I've posted! We have been so busy!

We had to make an emergency trip to Colorado because of a death in the family. It was very sad, but nice to see family. Addi got to meet some family members for the first time. We had car trouble getting home and it took us 3 days to get home!! Crazy!!
Now we are getting ready to leave for a real vacation next week! I've got soo much to do, but wanted to post some recent pictures of the princess. She is growing so fast and changing everyday!
We are also having bull issues. Of course, the one we have had nothing but problems with, has an infection in his foot. Our local vets cringe when we come rolling up with him in the trailer and I think they are tired of messing with him. They took his bandage off, took one look at him and called it a bone infection and suggested (for the millionth time) that we get rid of him! Excuse me, but how do you know it's in the bone, without an x-ray? AND we took his buddy with him and he was VERY well behaved, for himself!! :-) So- we are trying to figure out what to do with him. We are trying to make a last ditch effort to save him, before he ends up in my freezer!! Anyone want some hamburger???
Enjoy some recent pictures....
Happy Birthday Grandma!!

My hearts-- they love each other! So cute!!

You should hear her laugh when Jacob plays with her!

My Love's!! I love them both, so much!

She had some crazy hair when I took her pig-tails out! I had to have a picture!

Addi like's icing! Go figure, a kid liking sugar!!

Addi had her check-up a few weeks ago and she is 29 inches tall, but only weighs 19 lbs something. The pediatrician wasn't too concerned, just thought we should try to increase her calories, so that she will gain weight by her 2 year appt. She is soooo picky!! She will eat something one day and not the next! DRAMA! So, I have been experimenting with smoothies. She loves them. If you have any smoothie recipes that you think she would like, let me know! I also think we are getting close to the "terrible twos", she has been throwing temper tantrums or little fits when we tell her no! It's funny sometimes! Like she cried when I told her to stop poking the dog in the eye. I was not harsh, just told her it wasn't nice... but it brought her to tears and ran to me and wrapped her arms around my legs. And 2 seconds before she was laughing because Goldie was licking her finger! ha-ha

I could go on with stories, but I won't.

Wow! Your vacation is next week? I really gotta get busy on my house!! Ellie & Sam are also on the low end of the charts (30-50th%).
